Red Ensign, Cowes

Red Ensign Maritime Training is one of the leading providers of maritime safety training in the UK, delivering MCA and STCW 95 approved training for all sectors within the commercial shipping industry.

They provide for students working on cruise ships, super yachts, wind farms and surveying vessels, as well as bespoke courses, designed and delivered to suit your own personal company needs.

Storeroom has taken advantage of their location adjacent to our warehouse to use their expertise for an Elementary First Aid course and a Theory of Fire and Fire prevention course.  The latter was quite an eye-opener and to be honest Storeroom staff and volunteers all enjoyed dressing up in the safety uniforms!

Red Ensign’s experienced, qualified instructors provide worldwide tuition, both onshore and offshore, helping  people achieve the highest International Maritime Organisation standards.  Red Ensign have a professional and relaxed approach to training, students are encouraged to participate in group and individual exercises, which results in a friendly and fun way to learn for everyone.

The Co-operative, Cowes

Have you heard of The Co-operative community support card?  Cowes Co-Op is supporting Storeroom and Cowes Youth Forum this year!  Please pop into the Cowes Co-Op or Storeroom to pick up a Community Support Card, which will help to raise funds for Storeroom and Cowes Youth Forum during 2012.  Every time someone shops with the Cowes Co-Op and uses their Community Support Card, The Co-operative donates a cash sum to this fund.  This will cost you nothing other than your support and these 2 local good causes could benefit from a maximum of £12,500 each this year.

WIGHTBAY

We love Wightbay!  We expect you do too!  What can we say; it’s a marvelous way for the whole island to buy, sell and freecycle.  Not a day goes by without a new customer coming into our charity shop looking for an item we were advertising on Wightbay.

You can easily search for items currently for sale at Storeroom.  From Wightbay’s home page, click on the SEARCH FOR box located to the top right of your screen, type Storeroom2010 then click Search and around 3 or 4 pages with approximately 70-85 items currently for sale will be shown.  Good luck and happy browsing!

REAL WORLD TRUST

Real World Trust Philosophy

People suffering from substance abuse have a right to quality treatment and support.  Such treatment and support should be holistic, non-judgmental and flexible.  That a “hands – on”, collaborative relationship with clients empowers them.  This empowerment enables them to assume their rightful place in society.

Real World Trust are our ‘Parent’ charity.  Without them Storeroom would not exist!
